The West Virginia Chapter, AWMA, will have a dinner meeting on Tuesday evening, March 8th, in the Steptoe & Johnson Conference Room on the 17th Floor of the Chase Tower, in downtown Charleston, WV. The Chase Towers is at 707 Virginia Street, East, between Capitol Street and Summers Street. The parking directions are described below.

The tentative guest speaker will be Bill Cole, President of the West Virginia Senate (and now candidate for governor). In the case that Senator Cole becomes unavailable, Clark Barnes, currently the Clerk of the Senate and a former Senator from Elkins, is prepared to be our speaker. The presentation of Senator Cole (or Clark Barnes) will be an overview of the current legislative session and the potential impacts to West Virginia. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation.

The Social Hour (cash bar) will be at 6:00 PM and the dinner at 6:30 PM, followed by the presentation. The meal will feature Chicken Cordon Bleu and Vegetable Lasagna.

The cost is $17.00 per person. Please purchase your ticket via Eventbrite before 5 PM Monday, March 7th, by clicking on the following link:

Parking is available in the Sheraton Four Points Hotel across Summers Street from the Chase Tower. There is also some limited parking located along Capitol and Summers Streets. Visitors could park beneath Chase Towers, however, parking there can be very confusing for someone who is not familiar with the parking setup.

Please plan to join us next Tuesday, March 8th, for a good meal, great fellowship and a most informative presentation about the recent regulation changes initiated in this Year-2016 legislative session. .
